Our mission at Snail Wizard Treasures is not only jewelry. Our goal is to unify & thrive with like minded artisans. In world of fast paced production and cheaply made & mass produced art, its crucial for for local hand crafting artisans to work together. The dream starts small. Actions such as group purchasing for materials, vending together and sharing costs, promoting each other or collaborating. These are all small ways we can begin to work together. As we grow the goal is much larger. Damian and Tanya
Together Damian & Tanya are curating a vison. Working together our goal is to create a family withing artwork. Damian specializing in wire wrapping and fabrication and Tanya focusing on honing in on the skills of Painting & wax carving. We aim to offer a wide variety of creations. As we settle into our new location our goal is to build our own casting studio where we can not only produce our own castings however work with others. As Snail Wizard Treasures we are also excited to collaborate and unify with other artisans to produce and promote other mediums of artwork to share!
Damian
Born and Raised in Kelowna BC Damian Williams has spend the last 8 years developing his skills and knowledge of jewelry creation. Starting off self taught Damian began wire wrapping and quickly began learning fabrication and wax carving / casting. Learning new techniques and obtaining quality lessons from other experienced jewelers! After creating Snail Wizard Treasures in 2017 Damian has spent the last 6 years sharing knowledge, hosting workshops and set his focus on growing the community of local hand crafting artisans.
Tanya
Over the past 3 years Tanya has discovered the medicine within sound healing and artistic creation. Focusing her time learning visual arts and wax carving.
